BLF ???

Hi,

With FREEPBX, we can setup the blf in writing the file sip_custom_post.conf, for instance :
[100](-)
call-limit=50

[100](+)
call-limit=2
subscribecontext=blf

[101](+)
subscribecontext=blf

[102](+)
subscribecontext=blf

[103](-)
call-limit=50

[103](+)
call-limit=2
subscribecontext=blf

but how to setup a blf with switchfin ?

Best Regards,
Fabien

Re: BLF ???

Hi fsinetworks,

Switchfin is based on the latest Asterisk 1.4 so you can setup BLF as on any other Asterisk based system.
Me personalty haven't setup BLF. Please share with us your confings in case you manage to make it working.

In the GUI we have indication for free busy ring, etc for the extensions.

Good luck.

Re: BLF ???

Hi fsinetworks,

i use this

sip.conf

[general]
allowsubscribe=yes
limitonpeers=yes
notifyringing=yes
notifyhold=yes
subscribecontext=blf

add this to the extension_custom.conf
edit here the extension's

[blf]
exten = 200,hint,SIP/200
exten = 201,hint,SIP/201
exten = 6001,hint,SIP/6001
exten = 6002,hint,SIP/6002

i test it with snom 300 and 320 and 370 works great

Gr Edje

Re: BLF ???

I'll try this today on a client's IP04 running rev 499 with Polycom IP550s and IP-670s and post my results.  They have been asking for it and I have only been able to get it to work one direction.  Thanks.

Re: BLF ???

Firstly, thank you for you answers.

We can perform debugging with the asterisk cli command :
Core show hints
sip show subscriptions
According to this author :
http://www.panoramisk.com/112/asterisk- … vision/en/
we need to use in the sip.conf the command call-limit.

we can blf also a zap channel for instance :
[blf]
exten = 205,hint,ZAP/5 ; port fxs n°5
exten = 200,hint,SIP/200
exten = 201,hint,SIP/201
exten = 6001,hint,SIP/6001
exten = 6002,hint,SIP/6002

I saw in the lastest version Atcom we have a new menu with blf option.

Best Regards,
Fabien

Gr Edje

Thanks for sharing your config.
I have needed this for sometime now.
I made the change and it works with Polycom IP550s and 670s.

Re: BLF ???

Hi,

The Blf option in the Atcom FW is in the menu Global Sip settings /DebugNotify.
I also noticied bash script to increase stability.
IsAsteriskAlive.sh
keepalive
procwatch
