Changing the httpd port

Hi Guys

I have had a few people ask me how to change the GUI web port so i thought i would post it up in the forum for future reference.

In the old GUI we used the /etc/asterisk/http.conf to change http settings, however in the new GUI we use busybox's HTTPD this is started by the asterisk init.d script found in /etc/init.d/asterisk.

To change the default web port simply edit /etc/init.d/asterisk and change the line

Code:

/usr/sbin/httpd;;

to

Code:

/usr/sbin/httpd -p 81;;

where 81 is the port you would like.  this should become effective after restarting the system.

Thanks
Jason
