Resetting my configs is no problem.  Is Rev. 438 available in a image file so I can put it on a system on my test bench to try it out or does it need to be downloaded as source and compiled?  I'm best waiting for an image file as I'm sure I would not compile it correctly.. :-\

I have an IP04 and IP01 on my test bench used for setup and custom script testing.  I would really like to join the testing team.  :-) 

I REALLY like the switchfin GUI! 

I market the IP0X series and expect my first PR1-appliance to arrive tomorrow.  Woo-hoo!  I'm excited to get the PR1 and try out v438 !!!  (thanks in advance).

Some uneducated attempts:

1. I added a user jim to manager.conf and could not get as that user.
2. I checked http.conf to see of there's anything odd and there is not.
3. netstat -tuna show me it is running and listening on 0.0.0.0:80
4. I tried getting in using a known wrong user and password, the GUI did not say anything, it just displayed "loading" in the top left corner for a moment the same as it dos on a good user name and password.

I got it.  I flashed it again using the v383 GUI but this time I checked the reset configs checkbox. 

Looks like my fault, sorry for the trouble.  :-\

Should I just use it or do you want me to post an issues here on the forum?

The config reset is essential as we changed the whole httpd and now connect to the AMI (Asterisk Manager Interface) via reverse proxy.

Whats it doing when you try to log in?

note:  I just flashed it back o v383 as it would not let me in anymore.

The changes were simple.
I always start with options.
- I change the number ranges for users, voice menus, voice mail
- I configure hardware and trunks, this IP04 has 2 FXS 2 FXO cards
- I add email server settings for sending voice mail
- I edit the mail message so it ends with "Your Office Phone System"
- I add a 'PBX_Only" with the default route choices
- I added 2 outbound routes, _9XX = Emergency _NXXXXXX = Local7digit
- I added a new dialplan called "PBX_and_Local" that includes the default + these 2 new routes
- I pressed the apply
It froze

I have v383 screen prints of the actual settings I was adding because I was matching the v383 config into 483 if that would help.  There a bunch of jpgs on my Mac so zipped it would be a big file.  Let me know if you want them.

btw;  this is in a VERY simple network.  The gateway router is a Mikrotik that provides DHCP, DNS and tftpd.

My apologies.  I am at home now and the jpgs are on my Mac at the office.  I will zip them up and send them over first thing in the morning.
